Scheduled email campaign did not launch

HI, I scheduled an email to be launched Friday afternoon, and when i checked now in the evening i figured that the campaign did not go out. Anay reason why the scheduling did not work? 
I read couple  of articles that sometimes scheduling fails, but is there any specific reason why this happens?

Can be a number of reasons for this.
Were you testing your smart campaign before launching?
Check your smart campaign settings of your campaign audience if they met the criteria to run through your smart campaign.

Was it set for once only etc.

What about it did not work?
  • Check out the Summary Tab and see if it has a Batch Run history.
  • did it run at all?
  • As Ed noted, maybe you had testing brakes on and forgot to remove them.
  • maybe it got cancelled?
if there's nothing obvious, ask Support to check the backend. Perhaps there was a hiccup.

Also make sure you have the required "unsubscribe" link in the footer.  Marketo doesn't warn you that this is missing (for example, when sending a sample/test to yourself).  So it's up to you that this is deployed properly.  And finally, be sure that you have valid email addresses in both the FROM and REPLY-TO fields.
