I am very new to Marketo and my knowledge of software & developing anything is slim to none so I apologize if this is a stupid question. I used one of the Marketo email templates which is responsive and tried sending myself a sample email in Outlook. The sample email is not displaying properly - the email images and text is cut off on both the left and right hand sides. When I click on the "view in browser" link it says the page cannot be displayed. Is this a link that is automatically generated or that I need to populate?
Without seeing it or the code, hard to say.
You may need to tweak it.
knak.io may be a better choice as they are on top of their code all the time.
Is it something where I could download the HTML code from Marketo and import it into knak.io or would I have to completely recreate the email?
You can post your code or screenshot here.
Or you can download new templates from knak and update the copy.
Hi Karen Danielson,
Have you tired Litmus: Email Marketing, Email Design & Email Testing Tools
You can paste your code in there and see it dozens of different browsers.
As Josh Hill said above, without attaching the code here there is no way to troubleshoot.
Thanks,
Gerard
Got it - thank you. I have not tried that tool, but will do so immediately. I've also reached out to the Marketo team for support. Appreciate the help!
