Your password may have expired. However, since you may have not logged into SFDC directly for a while, you probably didn't know it was expired. Reset your password and security token and you should be fine.
Rahul - I'd recommend asking your SFDC admin to remove the password change requirement so that you do not have to worry about this moving forward.
