Salesforce Sync Error: Required Field for Salesforce Sync is Not Visible

We have been getting this error notification a few times:

Salesforce Sync Error: Required Field for Salesforce Sync is Not Visible
The following required fields are hidden from the Salesforce sync account
0EM50000000SyXh.jpg

I am new to Marketo but from what I researched on the Community, it sounds like Opportunity fields are not considered sync fields. So why was it trying to sync over? I can't remove this field from the sync on the Marketo end. Does anybody have any advice on how to resolve the error?

Hey Nina, I moved your question to a better location so that it'd get more visibility.

It sounds like maybe the Marketo Sync User in Salesforce doesn't have that field 'Visible'. Try making that change and see if this error goes away.
