Salesforce/Marketo sync error message


I am getting the following error when I try to sync leads from salesforce into marketo. I have been syncing successfully up until now.

Did you recently update your password or change your security token?

I updated my salesforce password a while back. How could I change that?

You need to access the admin part of Marketo, select Salesforce and then update your credentials. If your security token changes as well, you'll need to update that in Marketo.

The best way to do it is to have a separate profile and everything within Salesforce that serves as only the database sync. Then set that profile up in the admin section with the option of never having to change their password. Sometimes your admin won't let you do it this way, but we were lucky enough to set it up like this so we don't have to worry about the sync ever going down.
