Responsive Landing Pages - Tokenization

I learned that currently creating responsive pages using tokens is the way to go. Wondering if anyone has experience with this method to provide tips, and also if there are directions available for best practices/how-to?

To acheive desired visual layouts, currently we are designing files externally and uploading final images and creating HTML/CSS/Bootstrap templates in the Marketo design studio. Then attaching template code to Marketo landing page. Cumbersome for duplicating and editing...

Also, will new Marketo responsive capabilities coming out next month, wondering if creating with tokens will still be best practice in the future?

Re: Responsive Landing Pages - Tokenization

We use tokenization in landing pages to make them more modular and scalable and create a meta-level above the template for sharing components.

E.g., we have a "header" token that is shared across multiple templates.

Also for programs like webinars we tokenize everything (title, date/time, presenter, etc.) so we can update the page without ever editing it.

Tokenization doesn't make your page responsive per say; it's just a way to either re-use components and/or make pages really easy to update when cloning programs without touching code.

Here's some articles that were really helpful:
