Remove or stop Sending Marketo Sales Insight Email

Hi, we are currently testing out Marketo Sales Insight (MSI).  During the testing, the VP of Marketing wants to turn OFF the ability to "Send Marketo Email" option from Salesforce.  This option is on the MSI Visualforce page on the Lead and Contact and maybe the Account records.

Since this is a managed page, is there a work around to turn off?

Hey Erik - I'm not familiar of a way to turn this particular functionality off, but you could create a separate view in SFDC that only some users can see before rolling out to the other 'live' views.

Hi Mariah,

I did open up a support case too with Marketo. There response was "that customizing the functionality isn't available, unfortunately." The "Patch is to uncheck the "Publish to Sales Insight" on each email template in Marketo.  By doing this the user will not have access to the Email templates in MSI in Salesforce to send an email.  

From what I tested this works, but the option to select the function from the MSI widget(VF page) still exists.
