We have a unique issue where one of our sales reps went and checked the unsubscribe button on about 97 of his contacts in SFDC (I know bad that he even has access to edit that box). He then unchecked the box in SFDC, tried to send an email via Marketo but none would send.
Checking the box in SFDC which maps back into marketo, does this generate a persistent unsubscribe?
We did a bit of testing as we are preparing for the update on the Canadian anti-spam laws and your undersating is correct. You can uncheck the unsubscribe in Marketo to deploy to data.
