I wanted to know if I could send the same email twice using different smart campaigns. The email is an asset of a program, it is not in an email program. We sent an email on the wrong day but wanted to send it on the correct date, so we cloned the incorrect program and scheduled it for the correct date. Does this work, or would I need to create a new email as well?
This will work fine, you're free to reuse the email asset.
However, cloning the asset would make it easier to track who engaged with the "wrong" one vs. the right one.
