One Email Program with Two Smart Lists.

Hi Community,

I set up one email program with one smart list yesterday and that went out successfully. Now I have to send the same communication to a different list. So I cloned the email program and set the smart list. (Example: Smart List A and Smart List B)

Now I have to make sure, I don't send the same email to members who already received the communication in Smart List A.

So far I have added the filters as mentioned below:

1) Member of Smart List - Person in (Smart List B)

2) Member of Smart List - Person not in (Smart List A)

Is this the right logic? Please advice.

Thank you.

Looks fine for what you described.

Of course you can always spot-check the lists. Definitely good to do this while you're still learning Marketo — very few things in Marketo require you to work without a net, if you will.
