Omni Channel triggering with Marketo as the hub

We are in the process of working on a prospect journey and are looking to use Marketo as our main omni-channel hub (where Marketo campaigns will be triggering other channels, ie. a marketo campaign that can trigger a social linked-in post to deploy with a 2 day wait step). I know that Marketing Cloud has this feature in their journeys to deploy social, probably through API's, but am looking to do this through Marketo. We have Sprout that we use for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram posts. Essentially, we are not looking for multiple channels to trigger at the same time but one flow that goes from email to linkedin post or message then another email then another channel. We are not looking to push a list of records from Marketo to social, like I am familiar with that Marketo can do. I am looking to trigger from a Marketo flow step multiple external channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) to deploy pre-constructed posts that are congruent to the Marketo emails we are sending for this campaign. We already have Facebook, LinkedIn integrated with our Marketo instance and reporting such as likes, form fills, etc. are syncing into our Marketo instance as an activity log. Is using Zapier and API calls the only way to do this? Is there a simpler way?

 

Trying to figure the best way to do this.

 

1) Does anyone know what the best way to construct this would be? Are there any 3rd party platforms that would work? 

 

2) If something like this does exist, what is the best way to do this with Facebook, Instagram, etc. where you can't target specific audiences or email addresses, only lookalike audiences. What is the best way to: A) match the record from Marketo to a possible facebook account; B) organize facebook to be part of the omni channel journey but automated and not deployed manually.

Zapier, ugh. Wouldn’t even consider it.

 

Use a Marketo webhook to an intermediate service that consumes the LinkedIn API, sure. Just get a developer who gets how to create such a service (could be simple AWS Lambda or equivalent “cloud function”, standalone app, whatever).
