Multiple web domains for International company

Hi all

We are a global company with multiple web domains, .com, .co.uk, .fr, .de, .cn etc...
Up until now we understood Marketo could only have 1 domain set up (Not talking sub domain here), in our case Domain.com
For instance this means for us: We create a webpage outside Marketo in co.uk that contains an iframe where we place Marketo Landing page (with form). This Marketo landing page is on .com.
Then we need to work on a number of workaround/issues in terms of cross domain tracking.
In an ideal world, I would publish the entire Landing Page in Marketo (Design/Copy&form) as standalone on Domain.co.uk (to enable web activity tracking), but we only have Domain.com as an option to publish Landing Page.

In those past few weeks, I am reading in the community that we have the possibility to add multiple domains into our Marketo instance, and to select the domain of our choice at the time of publishing the landing page by building the landing page in the right pre defined partition. We always understood the scenario below was not possible, so I am bit confused on whether or not the below is possible

Mkto Landing Page published in  Domain.com = Partition 1 in Marketo
Mkto Landing Page published in Domain.co.uk = Partiion  2in Marketo
etc...

Is anyone doing it this way?
In general, how are you copying with multiple websites domain?

Re: Multiple web domains for International company

Jean-Christophe, you can set up as many domains as you want as domain aliases. See this article:
https://community.marketo.com/MarketoArticle?id=kA050000000L56XCAS

However, in the user interface you will only see the default CNAME (.com in your case).

Let's assume that you set up .co.uk as an alias. It will still show the .com CNAME in the user interface in every workspace. However, when you link to your landing page, you simply replace .com with .co.uk and the landing page will also work.

So these pages will show the exact same Marketo landing page:
http://www.company.com/page.html
http://www.company.co.uk/page.html

You can add an unlimited number of domains. Do keep in mind that if people fill out a form on co.uk, you will be able to track them on your .co.uk site only (which is probably preferable to tracking them on .com). This is because the tracking cookie is specific to 1 domain.

Also, if you have Marketo SSL landing pages (HTTPS), you will need to provide Marketo with an updated SSL certificate that includes the new domains.

Hope this helps.

I believe you can do this, but I would speak with Support. I have seen instances where there were multiple CNAMEs and one could choose at creation.

If you are mapping your domains to LeadPartitions/WS, then this should be ok. Again, Support needs to help you.
