Rosey, the Riveter.

She was a symbolic woman, who symbolized women's contribution to the WW II. It was one of those rare moments in history where we highlighted the importance of women for the betterment of the world. And her symbol helped the female workforce dramatically grown in 1940s. Women took on new kinds of jobs to replace me in the workforce who were sent overseas to fight the war.

Maybe we need a Rosey the Riveter today. What would she look like. Teresa the Techie..
