Mass Redirect all Marketo Urls to an external url

Hi folks,

Is there an easy way to do this? Moving away from marketo landing pages and don't want these pages online to be crawled by Google.

Thanks.

Re: Mass Redirect all Marketo Urls to an external url

noindex, nofollow will stop the spidering.

Unapproving LPs will mean people are redirected to your fallback page.

Changing the CNAME for your landing page domain(s) removes them all from view.

Up to you!

Hey Suzanne,

Just go to Admin > Landing Pages > Rules Tab

Then New > New Rule...

After that you'll get a pop up like this:

In the original URL slot, you can put an asterisk after the URL, which will create a "wild card effect". This effect will also pull in and LPs with the same root. So for example:

www.pets.com/* would also apply to

www.pets.com/kittens

www.pets.com/dogs

www.pets.com/my_account ...etc.

From there you can select "use non-Marketo Page"

Hope this Helps!

Re: Mass Redirect all Marketo Urls to an external url

Hi Lucie,

I tried using the * as a wildcard after our URLs but it doesn't work for us.

Can you confirm that you were successfully able to use this wildcard to redirect all URLs from a specific CNAME?

Thanks,

Hoi

It doesn't work, Hoi. Not a feature.
