Marketo Unique Code

I am looking to understand what the standard field, "Marketo Unique Code" is. Does anyone have experinece with this field? To clarify, this is different than MarketoID.

I am looking for a field that I can pass a randomly-generated alpha-numeric field value to and am exploring options for doing this. I saw some points about this field in the forum, but can't find much information about it.

Do all records in Marketo have a Marketo Unique Code? I can't find the field on the record layout so just trying to learn more about it.

Thanks!

Re: Marketo Unique Code

You can turn on pURLs globally with no side effects at all. They still have to be enabled at the LP level to be used.

Re: Marketo Unique Code

It appears I may need to enable PURLs to use this field.

So one follow-up question I have -- are there any potential implications I should be aware of before turning on PURLs?

Thanks again!
