Marketo for eCommerce

Does anyone know if there's a how-to guide for the Marketo implementation for e-commerce websites? I am looking, first, to foundations and concepts, necessary structure and major aspects of this implementation.

I couldn't find anything worth the time to read.

• Which CMS platform are you using?
• When you say implementation, which elements are you looking for guidance on? Technical setup? Other areas of best practice?

Hi Saulo,

There isn't a Guide like this anywhere. There are lots of blog posts and forum posts discussing issues with ecommerce and use cases. Do a search here and on google to find relevant articles.

I'll consider writing a basic guide on this in the future as it would be a good blog post. Some thoughts:

• Which ecommerce platform do you have?
• What's Marketo going to do? Why did you buy?
• Which use cases and emails do you want to send?
• What is the current data structures in your systems?
• How will you integrate Marketo and X platform?
