MarketingEventStatus 'Error' does not exist

Has anyone ever run into issues with Marketo & GoToWebinar? Some of our recent sign ups for a webinar (but not sign ups that happened before this week) are coming up with this error message and not getting pushed through to GoToWebinar...meaning they aren't getting their webinar login URL.

How did you setup the flows?

Is the Marketo-GTW login correct?

It almost looks like you are trying to set a Status that doesn't exist, but it's hard to tell if this is from GTW or a flow step.

The login is correct - nothing's changed on either end, email or password-wise. What's weird is that Error isn't a status that exists but we didn't even tell Marketo to change it to Error, we told it to change the status to Registered.

Are they registering through Marketo LP or GoToWebinar?

There is a Registration Error status that gets triggered for instances where the webinar's over and someone still tries to register, along with when weird characters like | or certain other special characters will push them into this status - those are the common ones I usually see when this does happen.

Marketo LP - there's some weird error status that comes up when they try to register, so apparently the form fill never pushed to GTW (says Marketo support). What's the error message that you get?

I would check the lead to see if it is in GTW.

Then I would ask both parties' support to look at the issue.

You can also manually run this flow on the error leads with another batch campaign after you resolved it. Or you can try taking those people and trying to re-register them, then send the email later if that works.

Thanks! GTW support says it's not on their end and the Marketo API isn't supported. Marketo support is checking the engineering logs now...
