Hi all -
I am in need of a map of Marketo's database schema to see what objects there are and how everything is related to each other. Does a resource such as this exist? I have been doing research and can't find anything.
You can export this from Field Management, in mapping tab. However, Marketo has only one object - lead, and the mapping is mentioned for CRM in field management section
Thanks Balkar. I am looking for the backend database architecture. The schema of how all the different tables are tied to each other. Things such as what activity field is the primary key which ties that activity to a lead record or a particular asset such as an email, and what fields are on each table.
We are integrating Marketo data and Tableau and need this information to blend the data appropriately.
You can probably piece together an accurate picture with your own knowledge from using Marketo and docs from the developers site developers.marketo.com
Thanks for the reply Jay. It sounds like there is not a documentation of the schema out there by anyone or marketo. That is what I will have to do.
Hi Nate,
This suggestion won't necessarily help with the exact internal mapping of Marketo but if you're looking to massage the data in Tableau, you may want to look at the Bulk Extraction options from Marketo. This post is bit dated but might prove helpful with some information to consider: If you use Tableau to analyze your Marketo data, look here
There is also this architecture document from Marketo Documentation site: http://developers.marketo.com/support/Marketo_DB_Reference_Architecture.pdf
