Known web activity reporting exclusions

Hi guys! Our Sales team finds the Known web activity reports useful! But there is a lot of noise with the ISPs coming from web hosting providers like Comcast Cable, T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon Wireless, etc. How do you exclude/suppress them from the report? Thanks in advance!

Re: Known web activity reporting exclusions

Michelle,

For known and anonymous visitors, in the "Setup" tab of the report, you have the option to select the "Activity Source". For anonymous visitors, you can choose "Anonymous Visitors (not including ISPs)".

However with either known or anonymous visitors, many telecommunications providers will still show up, so you may need to also use the report's smart list filter "Inferred Company: not contains: "telecommunication" or "network" or "wireless".

For known lead activity -- which should be more accurately called associated Munchkin sessions -- traffic from consumer ISPs (wouldn't call them "web hosting providers" as that's very much not what they are!) isn't noise. It's your known leads at home or on their smart phones. Why would you want to suppress that?
