Added the issue that arises more and more often of droplists not showing up when building a smart list. See , Re: what is the "source" constraint supposed to contain in a "Data Value Changes" trigger ?

Having just received my first reality check on the state of email template making. I'd like to tag on that a preview of what your email looks like in all of the most common email programs would be hugely invaluable.
Email programs that render HTML don't seem to (very often) follow W3C standards, so things that display right in Gmail may not display correctly in Outlook without hacking some VML code together. Apple iPhone 6S also displays content differently than Gmail and Outlook, but there's no tool in Marketo to preview all of these differences, you have to rely on an external tool or open the email in each individual application.
H Jeremiah,
This is available with Marketo as an option called email deliverability tools. Otherwise, you may want to look at services such as Litmus or email-on-acid that do an excellent job.

Hi Greg:
I dug in a little after my post and discovered the email deliverability tools which appears to be a third party plugin. So essentially it's the same as Litmus and EOA (both of which I've worked with to fix email templates). But this still strikes me as something that should be baked into Marketo itself, not something that I need to go to a 3rd party to resolve; particularly with the fact that I can edit templates directly in Marketo: but only get output presented in an idealized W3C compliant format.
