Is there a way to stop activity tracking for certain email campaigns?

Is there a way to stop salesforce activity tracking for certain email campaigns?

We have a dilemma where our sales team wants to see all email activity but our Account management team doesnt. Is there a way to have their turned off on certain campaigns that way I can just seperate the campaigns for the two groups. One where it defaults and updates all activity in salesforce. And the other where it wont update salesforce activity for in Salesforce.

Appreciate any help!

Re: Is there a way to stop activity tracking for certain email campaigns?

Are the account management team members the lead owners of those leads/contacts?

Have never done this before, but if they are the lead owners, you may be able to either stop the data or filter it in SFDC.

What activity are they not wanting to see? Is it just showing up under activity and campaigns? What's their beef?

Re: Is there a way to stop activity tracking for certain email campaigns?

Hi Pierce, Thanks for the help!

Its mostly the send activity. Sales wants to see what was sent, Account Management doesn't. Reason being the number sent too in each account is very large on some of the accounts and is hard for Account Management to keep track of their last activity.

If I could filter between sfdc type for lead or contact, what would be the flow action to stop reporting the sent activities only?
