Hi
Just took over a Marketo instance after their implementation and I see they don't have the field < Interesting moments> as a field to drag into the smart list, campaign, but they do have in admin the below fields
- last interesting moment date
-last interesting moment desc
-last interesting moment source
-last interesting moment type
the field doesn't exist to drag a drop. I wonder if I should reach out to Marketo , or when the issue comes from
Any tips as to where to start to fix the problem?
Thanks.

Thanks for the clarification Sandford. What do you think is wrong then?
Sandford is right, they are not fields you can filter on and are instead inside those activity types. However while you can't filter off that "Most Recent Interesting Moment Desc" field directly, but can 100% access and filter against the information contained in those 4 interesting moment fields by using constraints in the interesting moment activity filters available to you.
For example, if you wanted to see a smart list of everyone who has "XYZ" in their "last interesting moment desc" field, you'd add a "had interesting moment" activity filter into your smart list, and add the constraint for "Description" and put XYZ in there, and remove the other constraints.
Does that make sense?
Hi,
so filters triggers where not showing because we didn't purchase the sales insight part 😞
Ahh interesting.
Well, not sure what to do for historical data, but you have some options moving forward.
You could either create a new set of custom fields in your Marketo instance, and literally just populate them with the same information you'd put into an interesting moment. "Last Activity Desc" for example, and just do a change data value flow step for that field, and change that string field to your new description instead of using the interesting moment fields.
Alternatively, if you want to get these into your CRM too, you could log them as a completed task by the contact. Definitely confirm the volume of interesting moments your team would be posting into the CRM, but by creating these as tasks (and again, the description of the task can be EXACTLY what you were putting in your interesting moment description), your CRM team could filter contacts and leads that fit the description you enter. If you needed to, you could still filter for these in Marketo by using the Activity Was Logged filter, using the date constraints and searching in the Subject field that you'd be populating with your flow steps.
Good luck!
