Hi there,
I'm a new Marketo User, working with MS Dynamics CRM. Does anyone know what happens if you deactivate a lead in Dynamics? I know that inactive contacts aren't loaded into Marketo on the initial sync, but I wonder what happens if a contact is deactivate once it's already in Marketo. Is it automatically removed from Marketo, or would we need to set up a campaign to do this?
Thanks in advance for your help!
James

Is this true? This is the first I have heard about the 200 field max? 200 CRM default fields or 200 additional custom Marketo fields? or 200 fields total?
A market rep suggested I create a 'marketable leads' smart list, which includes those who haven't soft bounced more than 3 times, who have never hard bounced, who have not unsubscribed, who are active contacts in CRM in order to append those that have the opposite true - from an email. Because it's a smart list - it will include deactive/inactive contacts that become active again in real-time, but realizing I might have a problem with suppressing those net news leads not yet in CRM that don't meet that criteria? My gut reaction was to build a suppression list for this reason and exclude those in the suppression (unmarketable leads) smartlist. Thoughts?
