How to stop your Own Employees from Syncing to Sales (Lead Lifecycle)

Hello,

We are using Lead Lifecycle, Salesforce, Lead Scoring, and have all our internal employees email addresses scored in an exclusion smartlist as Will Never Buy. But through Lead LifeCycle they still "Sync" to sales. My question is will this just happen once and then never again for each employee... since they are will never buy? and since i just turned it "on" it is annoying sales now (getting lots of complaints that these employee leads are in their way). OR... is there a way for these empoyees to never show up in their lead queue at all?

It's probably easiest to set up validation rules for Leads in Salesforce (do not allow the sync user to create new Leads with an email address in your domain).  Otherwise, you'll need to set up exclusionary logic in every campaign in Marketo with a SFDC flowstep and every program synced with a SFDC campaign.

AH, So, I cannot stop this from happening on the marketo side, but my SFDC admin can stop them from "coming in?"

You can stop it on the Marketo side, it's just a lot of work and human error can easily cause some of your employees to slip through.  On the SFDC side it's easier to enforce.
