How to send email alerts to client executives...

Hi there,

We currently send email alerts to the account owner in sfdc when someone fills out a form. Is there a way to send alerts to another type of individual in SFDC? In this case we want alerts to go to Client Executives...

In the email spot you can add all of the emails of the executives that you would like the alerts to go to!

And just to add to that: If you happen to save/sync your Client Executives' Email Addresses in Marketo, you might also use a lead.token in that field:

Thanks Michael, this looks like the route I'll have to go down this route. Would I need to create a new token for that or is using the format you provided enough (provided that I get our Client Executives' email addresses in Marketo)?

Michael’s referring to a new custom Person field.

(Note you don’t “create” tokens. You create custom fields and corresponding {{lead.tokens}} are automatically supported by the system.)
