How do you modify a Marketo template from the library?

I imported the bicylce landing page template into our Marketo instance from the template library. How do I modify the image banner, for exmaple. Currently it's blank, when I try to drag and drop an image into it, the form box on the right hand side is covered up. What gives?

What if you're not well versed in HTML modifications? You can't do it any other way?
