How do I remove the unsubscribe link from one email only? Do I have to modify the template or can I do it from a local email asset?

Yes it does...wait...at least I think it does. It definitely bypasses the Unsubscribe and suspended, so be careful with your smart list.

No, there isn't another way unless you completely remove the Admin > Email text, which would do that for all emails.

It won't remove it in all cases - only if you're using the system wide unsubscribe text that's found in Admin.  If you're like us - where we have built custom footers as snippets, making an email operational will still include those footers.

Thanks, Josh. Does making the email operational automatically remove the unsubscribe text/link from the bottom of the email?

Is there a way of removing that text without making the email operational?

you can make it operational at the local asset level.

I would only do this if your email is considered Operational or has other exceptions to the rules.
