How do I copy a module from one email template to another?

Hello fellow Marketo-ers!

We have a few Marketo email templates that created for our company when we first began with Marketo. Both email templates have tons of modules - the issue is that there are some modules I would like to use within a different email template.

My knowledge of HTML is cursory, just dangerous enough to break an email template, so an image appears justified left instead of right, for example. I realize that there are portions of code I would need to copy and paste into the email template I want to use (thereby breaking that specific template).

Are there any of you (HTML-challenged like I am) that have experience taking a module from one email template and using it in another email template? If so, would you be willing to give me the steps I need to take and what I need to copy and paste to make a module available (and work) within another email template?

Any assistance is appreciated!
Cheers, Geoffrey

Hi @laevinsdad ,

There is no drag & drop feature which you can use to copy modules from one template to other, but as a best practice modules are placed inside a Container (hope your modules follow best practice)

You can look for the container in your HTML code & just copy paste on the other template.

Hope this helps ðŸ˜Š
