Help with Populating Custom Field from Opportunity

I cannot. When I am on the Opportunity Info, I get the message "This person has no opportunities." That's what made me think of a workaround that would allow me to set up a campaign that could populate a new custom lead field with the info as it comes over from CRM. Am I completely off-base?

If you can’t see them on the tab, then they’re not in Marketo and nothing you can do can make them accessible in Velocity, let alone in a lead field.

Looks to me like something is severely broken with your Opportunity sync.
