Gmail profile picture

Hi all,

Is there a way to add a gmail profile picture to marketing emails? We are sending out newsletters, webinars, etc., and would like to personalize the emails with a person's avatar. Please see below for an example.

Interesting question, we just did some testing here to check. And guess what, it does work!

As long as the lead opens the email in the gmail client, and the "from" is set to your account associated with your gmail/google+ account the avatar does appear.  It is a gmail only feature though, so it won't appear in other email clients like outlook for example.

And the profile pic needs to be public. Yeah, this is an unnerving -- though perhaps unsurprising, given Google's perspective on privacy -- feature of Gmail IMO. You can see when you log in that merely entering an extant Gmail address brings up the pic (even if you don't know the pw).

Adam Horowitz​ you should move the post to Products (and mark Chris's answer Correct!).  "Community" is for issues with the Marketo Nation website itself -- and yes, this is confusing.
