Forward to a friend, but different email

What I'm trying to do is send out a Thank You email and include the Forward to a Friend token, but instead of forwarding the Thank you email, I would like to send the Invitation email. Is there a way to do this?

...seems like you could use a dynamic email based on segmentation so the new person that got the email forwarded to them gets the invite version of the email based on the segment they are in.

Not using the built-in Forward to a Friend, no.

...It should work. email will go out of Marketo. Normal segmentation rules would apply.
