Form validation doesn't work with https://

On exoplatform.com we implemented Contact Us form that base on http://learn.exoplatform.com/Web-Contact-Us-English.html

The form validate is working if we use http:// protocol  but it doesn't work if we try to use https:// on our side,

Do you have any idea?

Hi Nam,
if I understand correctly I think that could be a problem because you are using Marketo element in http:// on an https:// page.

You can switch Marketo to https:// by contacting the Support: https://community.marketo.com/MarketoArticle?id=kA050000000L3HmCAK

Currently we have some services that use Marketo landing pages are running under http:// 

What happen if we converting Marketo to https:// ? we only want convert 1 our service to https:// and others still in http://

Hi Nam,
you are talking about a form which is implemented in a Page and the Page is not hosted in Marketo, correct? (just to be sure)

If yes, you can have the form in https and implement it on a http page. The problem is a http form (not secure) on a https page (secure).

HI, 

For example:

I have 2 sites: http://website.com/ and http://community.website.com/

On http://exoplatform.com/ we implemented Contact-Us form (that based on Marketo Landing Page). This form submit to Marketo. 

Now we would like to use https:// for our website website.com/. We see a problem with Form Validation if we submit form with https://. It could be a problem because we are using Marketo element in http:// on an https:// page.

​This problem will be solved if we

add SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption to 

​our

 Marketo Landing

But if we converting our Marketo to https then which happen with http://community.website.com/? (that's using the same landing page with website.com/). Do we need to convert it to https:// also?

Hi Nam,
in short:

1) http form on https website: NO! Often blocked by user browsers because of security issues.
2) https form on http website: Not perfect, but okay.

So no, you don't need to convert your community.
