Re: First nested program Email is Not Sending in Engagement Nurture Stream

In my Engagement Program the first nested program in the Stream is not working as intended so I'm looking for guidance.

1) First EM is Not part of the Engagement Program - it captures leads into a Program and Sends an email. In this program the Flow step is supposed to enter people into the Engagement Stream; see below for the setup.

2) The Engagement Stream consists of Nested Programs containing EM sends. In the first nested program for the first 2 weeks it did not pull in all the people and this week it did not even run. The nested progams after the first one did run.

First EM Program- designed to then enter people into the Engagement Stream

Hello @JLM ,

There is not enough info to tell.

Some things to look at:

  • The smart campaign in the nested program  -> 01B- Article DL/Security
    • What does the smart list look like?
    • Example Member of Engagement Program = True
    • If you have a complex smart list it could be the record did not qualify.
  • Is your test is already a member of the nested Program  01B- Article DL/Security therefore it will not qualify and get skipped.
  • This tends to happen if you use the nested program in other ways or your are doing testing and your test person is already a member.

In the first Nested Program of the Stream, which is not working, there are 2 Smart Campaigns:

-1 Smart Campaign which pulls people who clicked a prior EM into being a member of the nested program in order to Exclude them from the EM Send - only 5 current members are in this smart campaign now.

- 1 Smart Campaign to send the Email - see below Smart List.  Flow step for this Smart List is just "Send Email"
