We are using the "Description" field on a form, but it won't sync to SFDC.
If I pull up the lead record in Marketo, the Description field is completed, but when I look at the Sync to SFDC Activity, the field is blank. It remains blank in SFDC. Is there something wrong with our field mappings?
The field is not blocked from updates.
If I recall correctly, Person Notes (MKTO) is the field that syncs to Description (SFDC)
Pretty sure this is the default mapping...
We don't have a "Person Notes" field... Maybe it was renamed and now everything is messed up?
In our instance it is as I thought... Person Notes.

Yup, just did, and you're right. Although for some reason I can't pull "Person Notes" into the form.
Are there any restrictions on the field?
I've got some fields that block updates from form fills to work, however, not sure this would prevent it from being added to a form...
Check under your Field Management area to see....

I also just ran a batch campaign to insert "Person Notes" into "Description". This is now showing up in Marketo, but not in SFDC. I can't help but think this is an SFDC issue, but I can't figure out why.

Does the field synchronizes the other way (from SFDC to Marketo)?
If so, it looks like a right issue in SFDC (meaning the Marketo user has no right to write this field).
Also, pls provide a screenshot on how this field is mapped (admin -> lead management)
