Hi all,
For some reason, my the launchpoint service is not capturing some leads from Facebook. This only started about 2 days ago or so. Does anyone have the same problem?
Thanks in advance
Hi Andrew,
Is your integration still working?
We have an open ticket with the support team and they wrote us yesterday that their engineers "are still working daily on this issue. This issue is affecting multiple customers, so it's definitely a priority for us. I hope to reach out again with an update when there's some concrete good news."
Thanks,
Emilia
Hi Emilia,
Unfortunately ours is broken again, just escalated the matter.
Thanks
Hi Andrew,
Wonder if your integration is working now.
Marketo Support team informed us last week about a patch they were working on, but in the end it seemed that only some instances were touched by it. So no fix for us, yet.
Thanks,
Emilia
Hi Emilia,
I'm wondering if you were able to get a solution from the Marketo support team? We are working on our integration as well and we are not able to get any of the fields to pass over and/or map to the correct field. Marketo is looking into it as they believe it is an API issue, but if you have any insight, that would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Kristina
Hi Kristina,
No solution has been found yet for us. For a couple of weeks, Marketo told us that there is another account called "Business Service" associated to the admin person, that causes the sync issue. After discussing with Facebook, we realized that "Business Service" is actually a Facebook TOPIC, and not a page or an account: Business Service | Facebook. Business Service is the Facebook topic chosen for the company Page, as when you create a page on Facebook, you need to chose a topic for it from a list, and "Business Service".
Marketo's engineering team says now it's a Facebook permissions issue. Facebook is trying to identify it, but all seems to be fine there too.
Let's stay in touch.
Thank you,
Emilia
Hi Andrew
I've noticed that some of the leads from our facebook lead ad forms have not come through to Marketo since about the same date - late Dec 2017.
For us it seems to be a sporadic issue.
Today I'm also getting issues setting up new facebook lead ads - the form names do not appear in Marketo despite running several test leads through using the same process which has worked well for us in the past.
Have you had any resolution from Marketo support yet?
Thanks,
Hazel
Hi All,
My issue has been resolved. Apparently there was an update on Facebook's end and Marketo needed to fix it with a patch. Try creating a support ticket.
Thanks
Hi Hazel,
We have an open ticket with support and just escalated this. I recommend you do the same! We had the same issue come about around end of December as well. Then we were able to re-authorize the integration from the Launchpoint section and got it working again. Then,Just a few days ago, the integration failed us again so we've escalated the ticket. There seems to be an ongoing issue. Will update when I have more answers.
Good luck!
Anyone make any progress? I'm still awaiting a response, but I just pinged support again since I'm manually grabbing leads from FB, sorting and distributing a few times a day.
Nope nothing so far
Anyone get resolution here? I've pushed this to a P1 since we have a huge campaign running and the manual effort involved takes half my time.
Haven't heard of other issues.
There are some possibilities:
Support response below. I'm not sure how to change permissions -- which perhaps auto-changed on FB's end since we didn't update anything -- but trying to figure it out.
"When our back end tool tries to retrieve their form, it throws out this message: `2017-12-29 14:07:33,268 msg_type=602 http_c=400 lead_g_id=396232570819107 err_sub_c=33 err_c=100 err_u_title= fb_api_name=fetchAd err_u_msg= err_t=GraphMethodException err_msg="Unsupported get request. Based on the error code permissions related issue that is causing the forms to not load data right into Marketo. With in the message it says "Please read the Graph API documentation at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api"

Dan
FB just told our media buyer that they're experiencing widespread issues the lead ads. Fb support, for its part, directed me to the developer group. There wasn't any dev to being with, so I'm scratching my head, but the support fella isn't budging.
Hey Dan,
I've been going back and forth with Marketo support and they haven't identified a cause. When sending test leads out of Facebook with the developer testing tool, I am getting a "Success" status and the Facebook test lead shows up in Marketo. However we have had huge numbers of leads submitting the Lead Ad form who are not created in Marketo unless done manually.
Hey Trevor, Jamie, & Dan,
Were any of you able to come to a solution here? We are having issues with the integration - Marketo Support says they can see the Facebook API call, but the leads are not syncing/passing through. Let me know if you were able to get this fixed!
Thank you,
Kristina
Trevor,
Do you have any updates from Marketo support yet on the Facebook Adbridge integration? We're also experiencing the same issue and haven't had leads come in since 12/20/17 but should have.
Thanks!
Jamie
Dan, has this been resolved for you yet? We have also been experiencing integration/lead delivery issues since 12/20/17.....
Trevor, seems like it's pointing to a Facebook permissions issue -- speculation that there has been some kind of API endpoint deprecation by FB. I'm trying the FB dev support route; will jump in if I hear anything back about a bug/fix.
Same issue here. Have submitted a ticket. Our reps aim to reach out within an hour of getting a new lead alert, so not ideal having to download the updated CSVs all day. Fortunately, our campaign is day-parted (9-5 M-F), so we didn't miss out on anything from this weekend.
