Hey #MKTGnation #MarketoChampions - I have someone who needs a crash course on Marketo. She's very experienced with Eloqua, so not new to marketing automation. She needs to show the aptitude for moving from Eloqua to Marketo in the job interview process. She doesn't have access to a Marketo instance or to a sandbox environment. What's the best way for her to quickly ramp on Marketo?
Hi Jill,
I would start with Marketo University, there are a lot of useful things there, many of the free. But this will take an access to an instance, AFAIK.

Agree with Marketo University. Also review all Product Docs to be able to speak the language. Review Joe Reitz 's Marketo-Fu on YouTube to see the product in a live demo environment.
I have resources for that exact case on my site: marketingrockstarguides.com.
Agree that Marketo University + Joe Reitz's Marketo-Fu + Josh Hill's Marketing Rockstar Guides are a good start. However, she's going to do best with access to an instance so she can create test programs. Best to learn by doing!
This infographic is super helpful for anyone changing platforms: https://hub.uberflip.com/blog/marketing-automation-glossary (although Marketo recently changed "Lead" to "Person")
