We've been receiving some complaints from our sales team that our employees are populating the "Best Bets" section of their Sales Insight plugins. I'm looking for some input as to how to remove them from it.
Some additional input I can provide is that while we have systems in place to keep them from entering our lifecycle funnel, we do not have anything in place to keep them from being scored. Would adding parameters to reset their scores and remove them from further scoring campaigns solve the issue or does the Best Bets tab function off of web page visits even outside of scoring programs?

You could change the Account Owner of employees so they do not appear in Sales Team Best Bets and/or as you say remove them from any scoring and interesting moments that are used by Marketo Sales Insight.
All employees are left defaulted to our "Marketo User" account owner, yet they still seem to show up for some individuals. Assuming lead scoring resets and exlusions will work, it sounds like we'll go that route.
Yes that will work but worth checking what scoring sales insight is using to determine flames and stars.
Both run off of lead score since we have lead score set up as a combination of behavior and demographic.
