Hello,
We're doing some testing using internal company email addresses and finding that, even though Marketo shows the emails as delivered, none of our employees are receiving them. With the exception of one recipient, our internal exchange server log also shows that these messages were delivered...but again, no one received them and they are not in any spam or junk mail folders. According to IT, exceptions have been made for Mkto messages, so they should not be getting filtered out. It's like they've just gone out in space somewhere.
Sends to external addresses are working fine. This looks like an internal issue, but we want to cover all bases. Anyone run into this before?
Please move the question to Products (Move link at the right). This space is for webmaster feedback, not support.
Sounds like they're being sent to quarantine - which is what was happening to us (we were in similar situation as you a couple months back). Have a look at the details I provided here:
If you're not receiving specific Marketo emails, this may be why (failed SPF)
Thanks Dan. This does look similar.
We've taken a closer look at and it appears that, even though everything has been whitelisted and the send from domain has been set properly, there's still a rule in place to prevent final delivery of mkto based messages that use our corporate domain name (an effort to thwart possible spoofing attacks). We should be able to get around this pretty easy... just need IT to approve it.
Thanks again
