I'm new to Marketo--is there seriously no place in reporting where we can see the date an email was sent?

Hey Brian,
Welcome to the Marketo world 🙂
This is actually a surprisingly complex question - because Marketo is designed to support emails being sent in single send, point-in-time "batches" (e.g. newsletters); and as multi-send, scheduled drops (e.g. nurture emails); and as multi-send, always-on triggered emails (e.g., form confirmation emails), it's not actually as simple a piece of information to represent as it may seem... So, generally speaking no, it's not a standard reporting field (I suspect because in many of those cases to present a single date would be misleading). But, never fear! There are still ways of getting this information.
Assuming you're specifically looking for this information in regards to an email (or group of emails) that were sent to a single group of people at a single point in time, and are reporting at an email level not a person level...
Otherwise, if you're trying to report at the person level, or report on a single email that is either sent on a trigger basis or was batched out to multiple groups over a period of time, you may find exporting program/smart campaign membership data more suitable to your needs - they'll better enable you to identify the multiple dates that the email was sent.
Hope that helps answer your question!
Hi,
If you have access to Marketo revenue explorer. You can create report there for Email analysis and add sent (date) as per below screenshot.
