Email Module Preview Images Wrong

I'm creating email templates for end-user colleagues. I've created editable modules, however, the preview image on the right drag-and-drop module section shows a miniature version of the whole email for some of them. Just for some modules, not all. Others work fine. Is this a cache issue? Has anybody else seen this? Any thoughts?

does the sample send work? Preview isn't always reliable.
