Hi, I'm having an issue creating a new lead with an email format other than "user@example.com". I'm a relatively new admin and can't find settings to add a different format (e.g. user@example.us)

where are you creating the lead?

Attempting to create the lead from Leads>New>New Lead

you should be able to do this.  if not, it's a bug.

however, it would be nice to know if you're typing this in or if you copied it from somewhere else because there may be some hidden characters if you copied it over.

That did it (typing the email address in) - I must have been copying over hidden characters.
