Editing email draft DURING AB test

Sorry if this feels like a re-run but I don't know if I've seen this question directly answered. Most people are asking about changing AB test parameters mid-test, but I'm asking about email content.

My manager wanted to add in a blurb to an email where the A/B subject line test (ie using the same email program) had already went out. So this little blurb should be included in the winner send. I updated and approved the draft used in the campaign.

Can I be sure that the change will be reflected in the winner? Or should I just abort and reconstruct the smart campaign (excluding people that were sent the test)?

Thank you!

You can edit the email and your new content will be included from that point (after approval) forward.

To be sure of changes going through like @JD_Nelson mentioned , make sure all changes are made with at least 15 minutes before scheduled send time.

I usually allow at least 30 minutes buffer to be safe.

But as long as you approve your changes you are good.
