DupeCatcher blocking sync

So I tried searching this, but the only similar thread I could find was between 2 and 3 years old so I figured I'd create a new one.

We have DupeCatcher, an AppExchange app meant to prevent sales from entering in duplicate leads.

However, in testing some functionality on my own personal lead record I noticed it is causing some issues. Here is the process that happened:
  1. I manually created myself as a lead in SFDC with my information
  2. I went on our website to fill out a form to test some fields
  3. I noticed SFDC was not updating with the new data, so I went into my Activity Log. I noticed DupeCatcher giving an error that was blocking the sync because of a potential duplicate record (the one I created manually)
Normally, without DupeCatcher, Marketo would have associated me filling out the form with the record that already existed and updated it.

Does anyone else use DupeCatcher and have a way around this issue?

Hi all - Nevermind on this. Was trying to fill out the form too quickly and not giving everything time to catch up as far as a sync is concerned.
