When a campaign finishes there is a View Results option in the Audience box of the Control Panel. One of the fields in this report is Clicked Link in Webpage. Can someone clarify this column? Is it saying someone that received this campaign viewed pages on your website via this campaign? Is it the same as Clicked Link in Email?
Solved! Go to Solution.
So, scenario: person receives email, clicks a link in that email, visits a wepage from that link, that is the Clicked Link in Webpage?
Yes.
And it’s part of this report because it originated from this email campaign?
Not exactly. The link need not have anything directly to do with the email program, but a current member of the program clicked it.
Is it the same as Clicked Link in Email?
Absolutely not: Clicked Link on Webpage refers to links (<a> tags) on your pages to other pages.
Ok, thanks. So, scenario: person receives email, clicks a link in that email, visits a wepage from that link, that is the Clicked Link in Webpage? And it’s part of this report because it originated from this email campaign?
