Re: Changing sender email domain, but not CNAME/Branding Domain

In fairness, if you were absolutely forced to do this for the LP domain, and you could ensure (manually) that pages for each instance had a unique prefix, that part could be done. But wow, what a pain.  Why were you wondering about this?

That does seem like a pain, but thanks for sharing the idea.

We're in the midst of a company integration post acquisition and dropping our brand immediately and going with their brand and company name. We have a domain, they have a domain, moving to their domain (our company email already changed over).  We use Marketo, they use Eloqua, and tentative idea is to create a new Marketo instance and both cutover to new instance at some point. Since our email domain has already changed and we dropped our brand, trying to determine all implications and options for the immediate change over and for the future integration/migration efforts.

The more I think about it, it wouldn't be too bad, as long as you maintained a list (on the proxy server) of what pages are located where.

I am a gigantic fan of using IIS (ARR) for this, including programmatically updating routing rules.
