Changing "wait" step in an active campaign

I'm sure there are similar disucssions around this already, but I'm still at a loss with the best way to handle this.  I have an active campaign curently on a "wait" step until April 3, 2013 @ 8:00AM.  I need to change that wait step to a later date so that the next inviation is sent out on April 4th instead (since there is another email from a different campaign being sent out on the same day to several of the same customers).  What is the best way to go about doing this?  Can I just chang the wait step or do I need to stop/delete something?

If you're pushing the date out, YOU ARE IN LUCK!  Because it's practically impossible to shorten a wait step, but adding to one is no big deal.
You CANNOT just change the wait step.(!)  Any leads in a wait step are locked into that wait period when they enter the step. 

What you do in your case is just add another wait step between the current one and the email send, and set it for the appropriate additional period to wait.
