Just curious if others have seen any career advancement and or salary increase when Marketo Certified or have Marketo Experience? Curious if it is something that has been measured as of yet?
Nothing specific and I haven't seen data. BUT I see tons of marketing roles that now require MCE at min. I'd say you can get a raise or get a higher offer at a new firm, esp if you have 1-2 years of real exp.
Agreed, I went from getting 1-2/week requests to interview to 3-5/week. My salary jumped the moment I had marketing automation management experience but I can't speak to the certification from a salary perspective.
Lately, I'm seeing the same thing that Jeff is experiencing and the job title and description is preferable compared to what I was getting contacted for in the beginning after I got certified. But the only thing is that I'd have to commute much farther and I hate traffic. I'm spoiled at my work right now.
