Can you serve documents from Box in Marketo?

When you upload media files to Marketo you are creating a static copy on the server. If you later change the file, you have to replace the copy to reflect the change. A more flexible alternative would be to link to the master file stored within your organization (assuming it is publicly available, in our case these documents are in a public Box folder. I know you can import files into Marketo from Box but can you create an inventoried URL that will point to master document instead? Assuming that the latest and greatest version retains the same name and location, the link will always be current.

Basically, an integration similar to video hosting integrations.

Thanks!

I think your easiest thing is so simply replace the asset; doing that dynamically updates all areas where the asset is being used. Since Marketo is simply hosting the documents onto its server, I don't believe there's a direct integration with box unless there's a way to do a webhook/API.

You could just upload the file to box, make it public and update it as needed. As Kristen pointed out, there's no direct connection between Box and Marketo--there doesn't have to be.

The files you upload via the Box/Marketo integration are static:

Outside of this integration, using the public URL provided by Box for different files in Box account, you could use that in an email to make the content dynamic. For example, you could use <img src="http://box.com/example.jpg" />. Before using such an approach, I would verify this with the Box team, and ask them about the file transfer limits.

Box offers an embed code in their sharing options, which should work for you.  However, it will display a Box container in either Blue or Gray with the Box logo and file name.  But it does give the user buttons to either print or download the file, which is nice:
