Can we use a wait step using a Date/Time custom field token?

We have a custom field that holds the demo date in salesforce.  We'd like to send out an email one hour before.  This field is on the opportunity object at the moment.

Is this possible?

Yes, but you may have to do some math on SFDC to get the 1 hr to deduct because Marketo can only do math on the numbr of Days.

Although you could test .05 Days to see if that worked.

Re: Can we use a wait step using a Date/Time custom field token?

I have a related issue I'd like to solve.
I would like to trigger a webhook which will initiate a phone call based on a specific datetime token.

The date token wait step today only seems to work with date tokens, not datetime tokens.

Were you able to get this to work Lysette?

Re: Can we use a wait step using a Date/Time custom field token?

Hi Mark,

I don't recall being able to select a date/time token when setting the wait step duration.  While not ideal, what if you had 2 fields?  1 Date field and 1 Date/Time field.

Use the date field for the wait step and the date/time field for the webhook.

hope it helps!
