So strange...even tried checking the "Untrusted Source" source block and uploading the leads as "Trusted," but they're still listed as blocked. Any ideas?
Hey guys. Same problem here (all my Lead Owner fields are listed as blocked in step two of my upload), but I've checked the Admin Field Management for each field and definitely don't have "List Import" checked in the "Block Field Updates From" list. What can I do??
You need to go to Admin > Field Management > then pull in the field(s) that are blocked and uncheck List Import from each field's block list.
But you should be careful and talk to your admin because there are reasons these fields are blocked.
Generally only Lead Source and SFDC Type should be blocked in this situation. Marketo will only populate unfilled in fields when the field is blocked. So there is no worry on ovewriting things. You can actually proceed with the List Import as is. and Marketo will dedupe the list and fill in any blanks it can.
Keep in mind Lead Source is probably a bad place to track specific campaigns/event tags. Use SFDC Campaigns.
You'll need to change the Block Updates From settings for each of these fields. Likely you have List Import checked and you will need to uncheck it. After the import, you may want to change the settings for these fields back.
